update to my earlier review: the screen broke after 2 weeks, without any obvious action on my part (not dropped, just cracked in pocket). Evidently not a genuine Apple replacement, some cheap imitation. As I said.. best avoided.. phone now stuck together with tape until I find a reputable shop to go to.
